Mr. Ralph Wilcox
Southwest Georgia Film Commission DirectorThirty-years to his credit
as a veteran actor in Hollywood and on the New York Broadway stage and
now as an executive producer/director/and CEO of the 22,000 square-foot
Jokara-Micheaux Film/Television/Music Production Studio, Ralph Wilcox has taken
Southwest Georgia by storm. A Milwaukee native, his lifelong passion has
been in the film and television industry as an actor and making a
difference in the lives of others through the Arts. His enthusiasm led
him to Africa for 6 ½ years where he produced documentaries on the lives
of missionaries and owned a production company. His credits include a
plethora of film and television credits including Sheena, Sea Quest,
Silent Victim, In the Heat of the Night, and Good Times.
He is a visionary and has been successful in bringing much attention
to an area that is considered the ninth poorest Congressional district
in the United States. He is using the film and television industry as a
vehicle for economic development while representing 14 counties in the
Southwest Georgia area.
Mr. Wilcox has completed filming on
The Lena Baker Story. He
was the writer, producer and director. It
is scheduled to be released Winter 2008.

Ms. Brenda Cheatem-Wilcox, M. Ed
Executive Vice PresidentA native Southwest Georgian, former Star
Teacher, Teacher of the Year, and twice listed in Who’s Who Among
American Teachers, Brenda Cheatem-Wilcox brings 20 years in education to the
company. Her background in education has matched perfectly with the
mission of HennyPenny Video/Television Production and Training Program,
a 501 (C-3) non-profit organization which trains young people in the
disciplines of the film and television industry. Her duties are numerous
as she is very active in the administrative arena, in the training
program, and also in the business sector of the establishment as she
handles the daily operations of the Companies: Jokara-Micheaux Film/Television/Music Production Studio, HennyPenny Video/Television Production and Training Program, Schuster’s
Cash, LLC, and the Southwest Georgia Film Commission. She travels
extensively with Mr. Wilcox around the country and the world and has
become the consummate professional support system in all the companies. |

Mr. Jeffrey Hatcher
Director of IS/ITMr. Hatcher has worked for over 15 years within
the technology industry. He has extensive experience within the graphic
arts and networking fields. He also has almost 10 years of experience
within the field of K-12 education. He has numerous certifications
within the IT field and a wide range of experience in managing
technology. As an editor, vocalist and technology manager, the film and
television industry will be surprised to find out that all the
technology experts are not concentrated in the metropolitan areas of the
country. Mr. Wilcox says, "Whatever your needs are, if Jeff Hatcher can
not fulfill them, they can not be fulfilled. This battleship is
operational." |

Mr. Billy Roland
Facility ManagerOverseeing the facility operations of the soundstage
is Mr. Billy Roland, a native of Colquitt, Georgia. Mr. Roland has an
extensive background in forestry and construction, having built numerous
office facilities. Mr. Roland is very active in the Southwest Georgia
region. He has been with Golden Triangle Resource Conservation and
Development (RC&D) for 12 years. He is the president RC&D, an
organization that services nine counties in Southwest Georgia with a
focus on Conservation. He also serves as Vice- chair of the Recreation
Board of Colquitt, Georgia; Supervisor of the Flint River Soil and
Conservation Board; and District Supervisor of the Flint River Soil and
Water Conservation. Location managers, move over! No one is more
familiar with southwest Georgia than Billy Roland. No one is more
experienced in construction, electrical, facility management, financial
management or transportation logistics. Mr. Wilcox says, " My studio
functions like it would in Hollywood, New York or anywhere else in the
world as a result of Billy Roland." |

Corey Crumbley
Studio Production ManagerCorey Crumbley received his BA degree in film from the
Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA. He currently lives in Albany,
Georgia where he continues his work within the film industry.
He is a key part of the production crew at the Jokara-Micheaux Studio
and completes his duties with an unparalleled enthusiasm for his work.
Corey works with students as part of the Henny Penny Training Program,
as well as with various productions within the area. He recently
completed work on The Lena
Baker Movie. Corey was an integral part of the production and spent
many long hours making sure that the schedule was met. His hard work and
dedication shows daily at Jokara-Micheaux. |
