Spring Creek at Miller County

Welcome to the Southwest Georgia Region
Film Commission Director Ralph Wilcox

Southwest Georgia contains trains, planes, boats and plains. The area contains a diverse geography of location sites, from historical to urban. It is close to several prime Florida beaches. Transportation is not a problem with several major highways and airports located within driving distance.

Southwest Georgia has a humid, subtropical climate. The typical weather consists of mild winters with hot, moist summers. This encourages the strong agricultural presence within the area.

Whether you are filming a period piece or something contemporary, we have a location for you. Contact us for more information or to obtain a demo tape showcasing these areas. If you would like a tour of the area, we will be happy to assist you.
